What is a Degree / Sanad?
Ijazah means recognition from a teacher that allows a student to get recognition that he has read the entire Qur’an either with or without looking at the mashaf along with tajwid carefully on a narration or narrations to be recognized. With this recognition, the student becomes a person whose sanad is connected to the Prophet Muhammad SAW, and is included in the list of those who study the book of Allah Almighty with a sanad connected to the Prophet SAW.
Importance of Degree / Sanad
1. Imam Ibnu Mubarak has quoted from Imam Muslim in the preface of his sahih book that he said: “Sanad is part of the religion, if there is no sanad then people will say what they want”, and he also said: “Requiring a connected sanad is part of the religion “.
2. From Ali Al-Qari: “Sanad is a gift for this ummah, and a sunnah that is demanded.”
3. From Sufyan As-Shauri he said about the advantages of sanad that “Sanad is the weapon of the believer.”
4. Said Ibnu Kathir in the book ‘Al Ba’iu Al Hatith’: “Indeed the sanad is a privilege of this community, and it was not found in the previous community, which allows the sanad to connect directly to the prophet.”
5. Said Al Hafiz Abi Bakr Muhammad Al Asbahani: “It has come to me that ALLAH has specialized in this community 3 things that were not given to the community before: bersanad, Al Ansab and Al I’rab.”
PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAM
1. Want to increase the number of people who carry the Al Quran well and continue the sanad to the Prophet SAW, to protect the Al Quran from errors and distortions.
2. So that people do good deeds/move to spread authentic sanads that are believed by its members and close the door to lies.
Types of Degrees / Al-Quran Sanad
1. DEGREE BY SEEING THE QURAN
It means: A student reads the Al-Quran completely well, persevering, looking at the Al-Qur’an, as well as taking care of the correctness of the letters and their characteristics. And still with the law of tajwid law.
2. IJAZAH / SANAD BY TASMI' OR BY NOT SEEING AL-QUR'AN
A student reads the Al-Quran completely well, persevering TASMI’ meaning without looking at the Al-Quran and taking care of the makhraj of the letters and their attributes and sticking to the law of tajwid.
DEGREE CATEGORY (CERTIFICATES)
- The degree of reciting the Qur’an with a sanad that reached the Prophet, SAW.
- The degree of reciting the Qur’an with a sanad that reached the Prophet SAW. Only students who take the Al-Quran sanad degree tasmic (without looking at the Al-Quran) are allowed to graduate to people another.
PROGRAM PRIVILEGES
- Experienced teaching staff in the study of the Qur’an who have a degree in reading the Qur’an in the narration of Hafs from ‘Asim and other narrations.
- This program provides Al-Quran study with the recitation of Hafs narration from ‘Asim through the Shatibi tariq.
- A special course on the knowledge of Tajwid and the history of the narration of Hafs from ‘Asim.
- Successful students will be awarded a degree in Al-Quran recitation from Imtiaz Academy.
- Flexible class time (for Individual classes only)

Students who will participate in this program need to install/download the following applications:

- Imtiaz Academy will train students how to use the Zoom application for live classes
- Imtiaz Academy will provide video/audio class to any registered student who is unable to attend the live class at the designated time
