FIRMAN ALLAH TA'ALA
مَا عِندَكُمۡ یَنفَدُ وَمَا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ بَاقࣲ
Meaning: “(Truthfully) what you have (property, pleasure and enjoyment) will run out and disappear, and what is with God (in the form of reward) will remain forever”
Surah Al-Nahl, verse 96
The words of His Majesty the Prophet, peace be upon him
إِذَا مَاتَ الإِنْسانُ انْقَطَعَ عَنْهُ عَمَلُهُ إِلَّ مِنْ ثَلَثَةٍ: إِلَّ مَنْ سَدَقَةٍ Jَارِيَةٍ, اَوْ عِلْمٍ يُنتَفَعُ بِِ, أَوْ وَلَدٍ صَالِحٍ يَدْعُو لَهُ
Meaning: “When a person dies, his deeds are cut off from him except for three things: charity or knowledge that is benefited by it or a pious son who prays for him.”
Narrated by Muslim (1631), al-Nasa’i (3651), al-Tirmizi (1376) and Abu Daud (2880)
